The Tao of The Big Ring
February 11th, 2008 | Written by The Rev | Topic: ScriptureBig Ring knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its wattage, no fading in the sprint; it can outlast anything. Big Ring stands when all others shift to the 39.
He who controls the field sprint may be powerful, but he who masters The Big Ring is mightier still.
From The Big Ring comes courage.
I do not concern myself with wattage and heart rate, either leader or domestique, nor do I serve any.
He who sits on has little. He who attacks has much.
He who does not pull through, Will not be trusted.

I stayed in the big ring these past two days when I had to jump into some chutes that challenged my faith. When others would have pulled out, I dug deeper and found the courage to meet my challenger again and again.
Can I coast a little now?
