Find Some Fun

Top Of The Climb

The spring is the my favorite tome to ride. Reacquainting with trails after a long winter is like a rebirth. Every high elevation ride this time of year is a ride into the unknown. How low is the snow, how many trees are down, how muddy is it, cyclocross bike or mountain bike?

MTB was the right tool today

Any given ride could be 1 hour or 5 depending on conditions. The key is to surround yourself with other adventurous souls and press on. I always fancy myself a modern day Shackleton (with way better odds of sleeping in my own bed that night) when I roll out for one of these rides. The only goal is to explore and have as much fun as possible. Failure isn’t really possible.

You may not have snowy peaks where you live but you can still go out and find some adventure. Some rides should be just about the ride. Pick a new route and see how far you can go. Intervals and power meters will still be there when you get back.
