It was a star spangled podium over at Leon’s Vuelta.  Levi and Zabriskie made a COntador sandwich on the stage and the GC standings.  They head into the hills tomorrow and I am sure COntador is licking his chops thinking he can run wild on the boys.  I think he is gonna be in for a bit of a shock.  Levi has been riding out of his skin since Cali and I think we will see climbing legs on DZ that will surpirse a lot of folks.  It is a shame Lance crashed out, cuz now there is no chance Vs. will have any coverage.

According to CyclingNews.com Frankie Bighouse is making a comeback from his doping suspension in the dirt.  I remember he always this look on his face like he was trying to bend a spoon with his mind, that and his ginourmous freak  head.  Orange on a  toothpick for sure.  I wonder if Michael Ball tried to sign him?
