It is in the mid 90′s to day but damn it if it doesn’t feel like the start of cross season for me.  The Grifos got the 1st layer of glue, registration for the Crank Bros USGP opens tonight, Blaze has switched to huffing tubular glue instead of his usual model glue, and I just got the new cross T-shirt samples (more to come on that next week).  I am gonna register for the 1st USGP tonight even though i am not sure if I can swing the trip yet or not.  Finally the cross season is starting to take shape.  Lots of things are still up in the air but there are a few things I can confirm.

- There will be an official TCOTBR cross team, 5 core riders and unlimited number of “at large” team members
- We will be at Boulder Cup and Nationals in Bend, other non 801 races TBD
- The jerseys are sick
- We will have some great partnerships and some great deals for “at large” members

Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help support Heather Holmes and her trip to Marathon Worlds. As it stands you all have raised a good chunk of change that will insure Heather does not have to skimp on things while she is across the pond representing our great country. There is still time to help, she leaves on the 16th and we still have lots of stuff to sell. A lot of you may be thinking why should I help, she is a pro and gets paid to race. Yes she is a pro (trust me there mega paychecks or private jets) and yes her sponsors do help as much as possible but the reality is it is the end of the season, budgets have already been set. This is pro womens cycling not pro tennis.
