I'm extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one these days..

I thought it was going to become some dull old publish, but it genuinely compensated for my time. I'll post a link to this page on my weblog. I am positive my guests will find that quite helpful.

''If the race organizers insist upon making the grand tours so hard,
i.e. the last three days of this year’s Giro, a racer might be excused
for using every possible means to survive.''

Mark- do you honestly believe this? Sure, spectators love seeing competitors hurl themselves against the impossible- The Giro was epic, but this can never be an excuse for cheating. If all riders were clean we would still see the same awesome, gut-busting pain defying efforts; they would just finish 5 minutes later than if they were juiced.

Cheats will cheat no matter what the course.

If the structure of world cycling does have rotten foundations, by all means demolish and start again. But never exuse cheats just because their lot is hard.

I hate doping because it's cheating. One answer to that is to legalize it. But if it's legalized, then it will make its way down to the amateur level, as all things PRO do (not that it hasn't already). And I don't want to inject myself in order to try and compete.

Doping would take something I love and make it hollow. I could not muster the passion to hurt myself in training and racing the way I do if the result had more to do with EPO than my commitment. Wins, however defined, would not be something I accomplished but the drugs. And I would rather walk away than know that feeling.

So burn the sport down, by whatever means necessary, then build it up again clean. Talented, ambitious riders shouldn't be forced to choose between doping and not being able to compete at something they love. Nobody gets into cycling for the money.
