DZ On The Attack

Like I said DZ showed some climbing legs today attacking on the final climb today at Leons Neon Veulta, which according to Velonews caused the peloton to shit down both legs. (I am paraphrasing) Contador played the role of super domsetique and led the Astana charge to keep Levi in the lead while splintering the field and causing much pain.  Zabriskie is going to light things up this season, believe it.

Here in the 801 we went from almost 80 last Saturday to snow every day since.  We call this time of the year Sprinter because on some days you can experience spring and winter on the same ride.  It helps to have jerseys with huge pockets to carry all the extra clothes.  The usual scenario (for me) is to head out when it is 60 and rising, don’t bring any extra clothes and when I get the absolute furthest point from home the wind changes and the temp drops. Or I put on everthing I own and start peeling layers 10 minutes out the door.  You think I would have it dialed by now huh?
