Before we go all ‘cross all the time I just wanted to give some props to Cadel Evans for finally riding like we all knew he could and winning worlds. I have been pretty harsh with my arm chair quarterbacking of Cadel over the years not because I think he sucks but because I know he doesn’t. For an Aussie he has always been strangely soft. I mean you never heard Henk Vogels, Phil Anderson, or Stuart O’Grady cry about anything, while Cadel seems to cry about almost everything. His team, mechanics, fans, you name it he blubbered like a bad soap opera actress about it.

I hope all that is behind him and he will let his legs do the talking next year He has always been a talented rider and he has had some bad breaks but still Cadel STFU and just ride. You are better than that and don’t need to play the blame game.
