Pop!
You could almost hear it all the way from Italy. The massive pop that killed any talk that Lance had played possum at Gila and was just waiting to go apeshit all up and down the Dolemites. On his Facebook page he said he hoped to lose less than 2 minutes today, he lost 3. Oh well Lance, there is always that other (crappy) race in France. I expect he will be ready for that.
Whoops, didn’t mean to publish this yet. Anyway, Levi is looking like he has the goods. He seemed pretty comfortable with the pace today and with his TT’s going the way they have been. Still a lot of racing to come but it is good to see the Americans in the mix.
Horner was the real scene stealer today. Horner seems to me like one of those guys who really like to ride his bike, a lot. Probaly a little too much. I know a lot of guys like this. They are strong all the time, they never really have peaks or valleys. When you see them show up on the start line you know it is going to be a hard day. The only thing that keeps these guys off the bike is an injury and usually they come back even stronger due to the fact they are finally rested. Seems like that is what is going on with Horner right now. I would love to see him get the green light to go for a stage win.

i have wondered why lance got the race number ’21′ as the team leader when right before the race he was saying he didn’t have the fitness. i guess cause no matter what he is still ‘the man’…
i loved seeing horner at the front of the race. he didn’t seem to be in excessive difficulty.
i met him at cross nats like 4 years ago or something. he was way nice and funny to talk to.
will lance really work for levi?
