Road Season Summary

Since if have been MIA since the start of A Tour of France I thought I would blurt out a few sentence fragments about my thoughts on the pro road season since then. Here goes:

-Schlecks need to learn to win
-Cadel has the heart of a lion
-Gilbert is a honey badger
-Contador actually showed some class at A Tour
-Tour of Utah was awesome!
-Real Cyclist team should have been in the Colorado race(whatever the heck they ended up naming it)
-UCI and USAC need to be destroyed and rebuilt with people who care about the sport
-Saw my first Cross Vegas, it rocked
-Levi may be bland and boring but he gets results and really could give a shit what we think
-If I have to say Leo-pard Trek then I am also going to say Rad-e-o Shack
-Horner has shit luck, hope he stays healthy for next year.
-Basso can’t hang without the dope
-Was there a Vuelta this year?

Bring on cyclocross!

Who cares if Levi wins, most boring dude in cycling. He probably has one of the worse brands in cycling! I will never be a fan and I doubt anything he will ever do will convert me. Yawn!!

Vuelta needs to go away and get replaced with the Colorado race. I refuse to call it by its real name( Seriously chinese rolls off the tongue better than what they named that raced). How many serious pros at the beginning of the season are like “my goal this year is the Vuelta”, its always “my goal is the Tour or Giro”. It’s a leftover race for everyone that crashes out of the Giro or Tour or is trying to do something to get a contract. Plus all these small Spanish teams and riders line up doped to the gills to take potshots at the rest of the pros that actually race beyond the borders of Spain. Sure alot of pros race it to peak for worlds but how many actually finish it? Its one of the worse races in Cycling.
