State Champs Course
Categories: Scripture
In Utah Cyclocross we seem to have an abundance of flat crit style courses which are fun and provide some exciting racing. That said I am totally stoked to have the State Championships on a killer new course. The Mt Ogden Golf Course has tons of classic cross elements. Lots of grass, some pavement, technical descents and a leg breaking climb. Whoever wins on this course will truly be the strongest, team tactics wont be a factor at all.
A few twists and turns aside this video below gives a good representation of what to expect on Saturday. I rode with Jason Sager and Matt Ohran last night, we all agree this will be a classic course. Be ready to dig deep. No one is gonna fake their way around this circuit.
There can be only one…

There can be only one … in each category.
In our case, that means “There will be sixteen … unless C categories are excluded, in which case there will be thirteen.”
Where is the hill? Cant tell from the video
Rico when you go through the white fence after the long grass start it goes up. The next 4 minutes of the recording is up. Some of it really steep. The last half is down with a couple shorter ups. Should be a great course.
The “there will be 16″ quote is really funny….
where are the logs and single track? Spiral of DEATH?
I am digging the cross bikes out of the basement. As long as it isn’t to wet or cold I will be there.
Congrats on the win today Art! Between you and Tim, I would say that it was a good day for the Big Ring.
