UTCX #2, Weekend Wrap Up
Round 2 of UTCX saw ChurchofTheBigRing/RealCyclist.com team taking the win in 3 different races (Bob Walker (Texas Ranger) Masters 55+, Ali Goulet Mens Elite and I got lucky again in Masters A). The ride of the weekend goes to Ali Goulet who ended a long winning streak by MonaVie/Cannondale rider Bart Gillespie. Check out the video to see Ali G hopping the uphill barriers, crazy stuff.
Is it just me or are the Euro crossers getting soft? I can’t imagine complaining about sand in a cross race. It is not April so I am pretty sure this story is legit. UCI Validates Overpaid Crybaby Whining
Good to see Sven Nys back on the podium. It is funny how many people were ready to write him off after the whoopin’ he took last weekend. Niels Albert is the future but Sven isn’t gonna roll over like one of Pages tubulars just yet.
