This past Friday my dad and I participated in the annual Flight of the Pigs. The Flight of the Pigs is an epic 70 mile mountain bike ride that circumnavigates the city of Phoenix every day after Thanksgiving. After the end of the first section of trail, my dad was having doubts about his ability to complete the quest. So I told him of the power of the Big Ring and he was able to complete the entire ride. It must be noted that he was the oldest person, at 59 to ever complete the ride and was by no means the last one to finish. Truely Big Ring.

In a few days, it is going to be 46:11 24/7. We don’t need no stinkin 53.
just signed up for a 50 mile cx race in january. i haven’t done it yet of course, but i’m hoping for big ringery.
46:11, 42:12, 53:11, 39:12….whateva it takes. Big Ring is a way of life!
