The Flight of the Pigs is an epic 70 mile mountain bike ride that circumnavigates the city of Phoenix every day after Thanksgiving. After the end of the first section of trail, my dad was having doubts about his ability to complete the quest. So I told him of the power of the Big Ring and he was able to complete the entire ride. It must be noted that he was the oldest person, at 59 to ever complete the ride and was by no means the last one to finish. Truely Big Ring.
