If the geometry isn't slowing you down... no point to switch? Is there really anything other than cross that demands the devotion of the big ring anymore? With few exceptions Road racing lately is as soft as the little ring - Cross is where the big ringers all go to find solace and peace. No worries on leaving the Church of the Big Ring.
