Rachel Cieslewicz is a 29 year old race-aholic, if there can be such a thing. She loves to combine the elements of nature, challenging courses, and fierce, yet friendly competition amongst people who truly understand what it means to live. “It brings out my soul”. When the races are going well for her, her happiness shines brightly and gives her extra energy to go harder. When the races are tough, it is an opportunity to dig extra deep and find out what she is made of. Living the Big Ring all the way!
Rachel is a successful off and on-road triathlete, cyclist, and trail runner. She started running in high school where at first she had to sneak out of her house at night to run. Biking was initially how she commuted to school and everywhere she went. She was noticed by other racers whom she calls her “brothers” as they adopted her taught her how to race. She has raced ever since including several world championships over the past few years and continues to make leaps and bounds in the sports she loves as an elite amateur.
When not training or racing herself, Rachel can be found teaching and helping others to excel in life and to reach their athletic potential while working an endurance coach, Pilates and yoga instructor, and massage therapist. She is a single mother to an amazing son, Canyon, and resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
